Art Slowinski – Meet the Experts: MFA Facility Certification

As a native of Chicago, Art Slowinski, MS, CSCS, FMFA, started his career in Medical Fitness in 1996 at Advocate Aurora Health (AAH). Art has been an active member of the Medical Fitness Association since 2001. From 2007-2013, Art served as the Director of Operations at Galter LifeCenter in Chicago, the first Medical Fitness Association Certified facility in Illinois and recognized by the MFA as a Distinguished Facility in 2010. As a passionate, customer focused innovator, Art has transitioned his leadership skills to become a Physician Practice Manager for Advocate Heart Institute and currently works at AAH as Manager of Care Coordination Operations for the 70,000 Team Member multi-state system. Art became an inaugural MFA Fellow in 2013, has served on the Board of Directors and continues to serve as a Lead Examiner in the MFA Facility Certification program.
